Description
E- 65. “Visit Arkansas – The Vacation Land of the West” Travel booklet. Page SIZE is 8 x 9 inches, with pages folded vertically down the center similar to a transportation Time Table. 36 pages plus a color fold-out map on the centerfold pages (Approx. 16 x 18 inches). The Map has separated from the booklet which makes it much easier to unfold and view. SEE Pictures. The Wrap-around covers show a color photo of a mountain look-out and the valley below. No date, but a “Welcome message” from Governor Homer M. Adkins (1941-1945). Over 100 b/w photographs, most with captions, but captions are generic in style, and most do not exactly identify the scene. There are 8 photos from World War II-era Camp Robinson showing military scenes. Nice retrospective of 1940s Arkansas. CONDITION: Light corner and edge wear. Minor wrinkles along the spine fold. Very slight smoky odor to brochure. Very Good FINE condition.
Sold AS IS. Look carefully at the pictures to Judge Condition for Yourself.
