Here is a cool bit! This one is a bit older, with the older style makers mark, likely from when the company was being transitioned from Ervin Quick,  who built bits for over 60 years, to his son Mike Quick. This one is a bit older, as it was used from the never rust metal material, giving it a cool patina on the mouth with aluminum shanks. This one is a 5" with hooded frog port with copper roller (cricket), has a nice heavy shank that measures 8.25", and is in excellent condition given its age. Not as heavy as some of these bits, only showing a bit of pitting to the aluminum typical with time and use.
