Presenting....a Gorgeous Vaseline Green Art Glass Pedestal Compote with a Twist....beautifully Embellished with an all-over Etched Multi-Floral Pattern, glassmaker and pattern unknown.  It's a very elegant piece, with lots of detail, like those made by Fostoria, Cambridge, Tiffin Glass or the like.  It stands 7 3/8" high x 8 1/4" in diameter x 3 5/8" across the base.  There are the usual old mould markings from the glassmaking process, like bubbles, swirls/striations, straw marks, and unique moulding anomalies; all characteristics inherent to antique and vintage glass.  There is a 1/2" band that frames the perimeter of the bowl, etched with a "Florentine-style" pattern to complement the all-over Multi-Floral Pattern of the compote itself.
