Vintage 1972 / 1974 HESS Toy Tanker Truck by MARX with Original Box & Inserts
This eBay listing is for a vintage Hess truck that comes as you see pictured in the listing and noted above with the original box.    I believe this is from either 1972 or 1974 but I don't know which.   The box has no address on the ends to tell me which year this is and it does have the Marx logo on the bottom.   The condition is excellent in the box and looks to have never been used.   It has a little dust from sitting in the box for so many years.   I did test this out and there is 1 headlight and 1 tail light that didn't light up.   I also got a very slight smell of dampness when I first opened up the box like this was stored in a basement.   Also, the box lid shows some wear (see pictures) but it does have the inserts inside.
I'll have a few other older Hess trucks on ebay that I just picked up from a local estate sale in central PA!!
