Vintage 1976 HESS Toy Truck with Original Box, 3 Drums & Insert N MINT ~ WORKS!!
This eBay listing is for a vintage Hess truck that comes as you see pictured in the listing and noted above with the original box.    I believe this is from 1976 since it has Made in Hong Kong Amerada Hess Corporation Woodbridge, New Jersey on the end of the box.   The condition is excellent/near mint in the box and looks to have never been used.   I did test this out and the lights work front and back.   It has the bottom insert, Battery Installation card and 3 plastic oil drums.   Please note - there are 2 style drums but according to a website that I used to help determine which year this is - they are both correct to this year.   1 sticker is peeling off some on the back and the sticker on the door is missing part of it's corner - no stickers are on the oil drums.  The box shows some shelf wear along with a old name written on the top of the box.
I'll have a few other older Hess trucks on ebay that I just picked up from a local estate sale in central PA!!
